One of my old Bushnell 6x18 Trophy scopes has apparently broken inside. I use this on my tuned Air Arms TX200s. Will this Bushnell 756245B Trophy Xtreme X30 6-24x50 be rugged enough for the 22 TX200, shooting 740fps?
Has Bushnell kept the rugged builds, even though not stated as airgun rated?
Probably not if it is not made in Japan or Philippines. I would think that Japan made 6-18x40AO you used would have lasted you a lifetime but if you send it to Bushnell for warranty they will probably send you a replacement that is not from Japan so I wouldn't count on it holding well on a springer. I would suggest a Weaver or a Vortex or Leupold or a Hawke Air Max. Perhaps maybe even a UTG Leaper since I read a lot of good reviews about that brand holding up on springers.
Only the highest end big dollar Bushnells are made in Japan nowdays.
I have a Barra Optics 4-16x50 Side Focus coming and it should be made in Japan and I would chance that one on a mild springer IMHO.
