Actually, there is a gen2 that uses a bushing:

to become a 0.177" cal
I've read of people having issues with the bushing coming out in the middle of a match, so if you go for this more expensive one, it might be good to ask what sort of remedies there are.
There is a huge price difference, so it really behooves you to look into it in detail.
