What is the best string for resetting FT targets?

Dacron won't stretch. Orange color is nice and visible for draping the line to check wind.
If using Dacron 300lb test is the lowest you should go. Otherwise the string is so thin it can cut you when pulling up a difficult target.

John has a point. We use 80 lb Chartreuse (Day-glo Yellow) It does cut from time to time. Still, it's been out in the weather for at least two years and it's still in good shape & I'll probably stick with it because our winders just handle 60 yards with the 80 lb thickness.
I also like the bright color as it's easy to see on the ground when setting up a course so you can avoid getting your feet tangled in it when walking around.
It's not cheap though. We get 18- 60 yd strings per roll. About 9 lanes at 2 targets per lane.
