Had a couple of C1's, and a Vulcan. Liked then (and now) simple springers. Wasn't much difference internally, were pretty much the same system inside either of them, but the C1 was the more fun.

I liked the straight gripped/English style stock.

More recently (like in the last 10 years) had a C1 type stock made for a QB78...which seems odd to spend the $ on auch an inexpensive rifle. Did have it made aquite a bit thinner and a touch longer.

About the same time as the C1's, bought this "other" Webley. Sights are off, but should be details enough to identify it.

That little beauty would be a Webley Osprey, and a nice example too.

BArrel like a truck axle, stock with all the ergonomics/ grace of a 2X4,  tap loader, low speed (by today's standards)...but the bugger would shoot.

It would also break mainsprings with some regularity (not "let down" but snap tem about 1/4-1/3 up from the rear). Odd piston rings did seem to keep 1st shots in the same group as any other shot, but it was an (accurate) "turd".

Put the open sights back on and sold it to a chuch member (who will collect anything Beeman...although I think he shoots nothing).
