Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that my channel "Edgun West" has been terminated by Youtube because they stated I violated their "Community Guidelines". They feel airguns are dangerous and I can only guess because I taught people how to modify and work on airguns they deemed this "harmful to minors." I appealed this decision, but I was unable to get Youtube to change their mind. I have been banned from emailing them again. I am not going to let me stop making videos or sharing them. I started this just having fun, and I was encouraged by Ernest to make DIY videos. This passion eventually led me to import the gun I love above all others "the EDgun". If I stop making videos, it will change my whole business model. I know my videos are wordy and not polished but I like making no-frills videos. I hope me going to a new hosting service won't prevent people from seeing my videos, but I am left without another option.
Here is my replaced video for the R5 .30, and as I stated before, there will be more in the series
Thanks for understanding
Brian
I've always enjoyed your videos, damn shame. Just know we appreciate your efforts.
Thanks Brian
(Head shake) That is too bad. I bought my Leshiy from you based on your video of it. Can't tell you how many DIY videos have helped me repair a gun. Trigger mod videos are my favorite. Please keep us posted here. It would be nice if the Yellow had a area just for DIY videos. Did they delete all of Ernest's videos too? Thank you for letting us know.
I bet their profit sharing just killed the "globalist" backers as they built their monopoly... Need to look into alternatives... Now that YouTube has a monopoly on video sharing we can expect the same single focused narrative pumping into society, propaganda, and whatnot that we've come to expect from: NY Times, Washington Post, and worst of all the AP. Rich are getting richer, smarter, and more powerful and the poor are getting poorer, dumber, less educated.
Are these channels being banned because of complaints? If so I would be curious who is complaining. Lot of money involved with high end airguns.
Some columnist from the NY area has been on a mission to get all the banks and such to not deal with any thing weapon wise. He has been calling them and recently wrote and article about his actions. No doubt threatening bad press and such. Its not like this type of problem has not been occuring- it has been going on in the background for several years already. Not only involving banks but business insurance as well. Even my lowly little sharpening shop ( underwriter took the exception to the word blades in the business name- and had the audacity to suggest changing the name) got clipped by it about 6 or seven years ago. Can't print my response to that .
After reading this I had my daughter download a lot of Kalibr Colibri videos. There are not many people who have worked on them but Ernest and a couple others made some good videos about them.
If you have any videos that you need you might figure out how to download them now.

If you are on FaceBook, you can upload (informative, non-advertisment) posts to the following:
PCP Airguns, Big toys for Big Boys (and Big Girls Too) https://www.facebook.com/groups/pcpairgunners/
AirTanksForSale is my busines page (you might need to send to me the video, still figuring out FaceBook) https://www.facebook.com/AirTanksForSale (Again, you might need to call me first, until I figure out if you can upload onto my page)
Sorry that youtube singled your channel out but I'm glad you had another plan to continue. I just don't understand why youtube is being such pain in the ?>?.
I can take a guess. It's possible that their heart is in the right place, but not their head. With several horrible firearm-related shootings taking place within the last year or so, they may feel motivated to want to help alleviate such situations to the extent possible. Unfortunately, they may view anything containing the word "gun" as part of the problem, when that's not the case.
It reminds me of the old saying, "If the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to see all problems as a nail". I wonder if something as innocuous as posts about "nail guns" or "rubber band guns" on their site are sharing a similar fate as posts about air guns.
