+1 on Pomona. Buddy had him chop/re-choke a HW barrel and it came out perfect. Steve knows his stuff.

If you have access to a bench vise, I say just do it yourself. If you’re doing it often, it makes sense to build a jig but for the occasional need, a vise and a can-do attitude gets the job done. Personally, even if I knew a gunsmith who would do it for free, it’s way more trouble to box it up and ship it than it is to just do it, not to mention the risk of shipping damage.

I would go with Steve at Pomona Air guns ! Just Had my HE 35 E .22 completely Tuned ! Was always a Great Shooter but Silky Smooth after Steve  Tuned it !

use a vice. Don't over think it. You don't have to move it just a little to make a difference. protect the barrel in the vice. Do not use the air tube for clamping. You could also use a tapered scope mount.
