Anyone here have an Alpha Carette Compressor....

If so, can you help me out?  My water pump went south on me: tested repeatedly with the same results.......prestone anti-freeze fizzing out and making a big puddle under the unit.Joe B sent me a new water pump to install.  I told him I was mechanically challenged but I have to try and replace it.  The water pump has a slim black cable coming out which has to be plugged in and hooked up to another part of the compressor: (cables wrapped up in black sheathing leading to the top plastic box which houses the start button, etc).  Any help would be appreciated. I can send photos.
