Ok, so I followed directions from a well known enabler and have an Anschutz 9015 club pushing JSB 8,4's at 780 fps.  With the peeps this thing can shoot, but it is loud, even at the 10m power it snapped a bit. What I'm looking for know is ideas on where to look for a suppressor, brake, air stripper and a source for a possible quick fill connect so I can do away with unscrewing the air tube.  I found Jon Harris (UK) makes some stuff, don't know his pricing yet.  That's about the only source I've found so far. Anyone have any other sources that you have seen or are using?

AZ can do a quck fill.  Does your barrel have internal threads at the end like the 9015 HP barrel has?   if not, send me a PM and I might be able to help you on the moderator issue.

Jerry,

Did you buy the 16j kit from Anschütz? Or did you do machine work on it? How does it compare to your TM1000?

Regards,

Leo

Bought the 16j kit. Works like a charm with a little bit oh hammer preload and upping the reg slightly. I will look into opening the plenum vol a little so i can back the preload off and lower reg pressure. What i didnt know was the actions are not  exactly the same. My barrel does not have threads on the end like the 9015HP. Maybe that was an update, i dont know. The thing is freaking loud.

The 10m models have different barrel shrouds that are not threaded.  The HP has the shroud with the threaded end.  I've seen some 3D printed inserts that can go into the end of the 10m shrouds that act as a baffled end cap and help considerably with the sound.  Can't remember where I saw them though.

As far as a quick fill, AZ or I think XTX Air has one.  But you will lose the gauge of course.

Tyler,

I recently acquired a Feinwerkbau 603 single stroke with 3-D baffles. It was very quiet, BUT they are a BAD IDEA. Accuracy is not there, but I think barrel harmonics are the reason, not the light weight 3-d printed baffles.

I tested with and without, best was the end of the factory barrel. By the way, it was a empirical long test.

With all this said, I like quiet.

Jerry, you can get slip on adapter from donnyfl,  https://donnyfl.com/collections/adapters/products/11mm-12mm-15mm-and-16mm-slide-on-adapter-with-1-2-x-20-unf

And then add small LDC like Tanto, should do the job.

I have that rifle why would you need baffles on it?

The adaptor is a great idea but I would need an 18mm.

It would be easy enough for me to open it up to 18 mm if you wanted.

Thank you, on further investigation it looks like he can make custom sizes. This may be the way to go, I'll see

Thanks
