After grudgingly resigning myself to the bedliner treatment I proceeded and the results are more pleasing to the eye (at least to me) than I anticipated. I still need to change out the dovetail to picatinny mount for a lower profile design. It's on it's way but didn't get here in time for the photo session.  Let me know what you think...

Thanks Dan & Pb.

Dan, to answer your question, no plans for another attempt. I got it outa' my system. On to other things now. If it's any consolation.... I agree with you in as much as the natural look would've been preferable however we simply part ways on where to draw the line between acceptable and not acceptable. A touch of autism in my blood perhaps. They say everyone's got it. Just a matter of to what degree? 🙂

turned out nice looking.

Made a "mistake" on mine....tired it with a scope on paper vs the red dot.  Considering that most of the advantage of a red dot goes along with the pistol format, never went back to the dot.

That looks sweet!  What bedliner paint did you go with?

I hear ya,,,, me too. after I made my little carbine stock for it, and rethinking the whole inletting issues, Im done with that platform.

Was fun to see how you approached it, and weve all learned from that.
