Hey guys! I got my hands on an AGT Vixen Long. Tony at Talon Tunes sent over a Vixen to test. Awesome gun with a lot of features you won't find on any other gun. I had a ton of fun shooting this awesome PCP rifle. Thanks for watching! -Nate

Cool review. I saw one at AOA. Very cool gun. It looks even better in person. Feels crazy light with the bottle back there.

Did it get the 80 shots per fill claimed?
Do you have a shot string you could share?

Thank you.

Thank you.

I think I got 50-60 shot per fill. I would have noticed 80 shots. I don't particualy remember a high shot count. I did chrono that gun, but I have deleted the chrono footage by now. I need to use my other chrono that prints out shot strings. Next gun, I'll keep a record. Thanks for the idea!

TIP: if you lean on the gun, The POI can change, The giant shround is connected only at the front of the barrel. "Let the gun shoot itself, and it will be dead on." is what Tony told me.  The harmony is perfect, there is no need to squeeze the gun tight or hold it tightly. Just hold it comfortably, and pull the trigger. -Nate

To be a full review, I want to know the full capabilities of the gun.  This starts and ends with slugs.

dB at muzzle and impact zone:

Shot string #’s.  At least 10.

Shots per fill.  Your experience, not from the Mfg.

30 yards with a 30FPE gun:

NSA

.218 17.5gr.

.218 20.2gr.

.218 23gr.

H&N HP:

.218 21gr.

.218 23gr.

or

.217 21gr.

.217 23gr.

50 yards:

Use winning slug from shootout above for sight-in at this range.  Assume this is your zero.

Three, five round groups.  FPE at this distance using lab radar.

75 yards.

Three, five round groups.  FPE at this distance using lab radar.  Amount of holdover in mils.

100 yards.

Three, five round groups.  FPE at this distance using lab radar.  Amount of holdover in mils.  Is there still killing power?

Omit:

Reading the features at the beginning.  I can do that on the website.

18 yard indoor range.  All PCPs can do one hole groups at that range.

Talking to your yard art.  Nothing gives me the creeps more than Mr. Rogers.

50-60 shots is quite alright. That looks like the ideal hunting gun for desert brush. I’m gonna have to get one!

Thank you Nate.
