Hello I am new to the forum.
I searched around and have not found anything related to my issue yet.
I have an Air Arms TX200 MK2 and the other day when shooting the rifle the Safety button broke off.
I have looked around the internet and it seems that none of the online places carry the safety.
Does anyone know of a source for this part or do I need to send the Rifle in for service to get it replaced?
Thanks for any help
Big Mike
Call Pyramyd Air, they stock some AA parts that are not listed on the web site. And if they do not have it in stock they will order it in for you.
Tvanpool,
Thank you for the response I will give them a call.
you might want to email Air Arms for the parts and availability
Chambers shows many of the mk1-2's to have non available parts and it seems the mk3 has a change of safety parts
at least you would find out first hand from AA if the parts are available and there correct part number for further searches
could it be repaired, seeing that I have never seen one I don't know the material that is made of
J-B Weld 8265-S is some magic epoxy in 2 tubes, 24 hour + time to set but very strong and if it you could back drilled the safety with a very small drill and then use that drills shaft end epoxied in the hole, just guessing with some ideas that I don't know would work
in any case good luck

I sent an email to Air Arms, they replied that since the issue is with the safety, it is a safety issue and I would need to send the Trigger Mech in to have it repaired.
I will have to see where I need to send it to have it repaired I hope not to the UK.
well that is interesting and good service, but the rifle would have to be taken apart to do that and maybe they install a MK3 safety to improve it
keep us posted this story is interesting to me at least
take care good luck

The newer TX safeties are different to the old guns. The safety protrudes out the right side when the safety is off, on new guns and this requires a hole out that side as well. You should be able to file the extra length off a new model safety and use it in the older guns. All they did was make the thin part of the safety longer so it sticks out. It is also red on this end to indicate the safety is off. It's a very easy gun to work on since it has very little pre-load on the spring.
