So I had to put a new air gauge on my rifle because pressure would bleed down and not hold air. Could hear it leaking at gauge when went to fill. Before removing the gauge I shot a few black air blast down the gun. Now when I try to refill it I get air leaking out the barrel. Probably a bone head move but dead is done. I'm trying to figure out what I did and what I need to do to fix it. I'm pretty handy with this kind of stuff. Build my own ar's and stuff.
so is it cock if not the hammer is sitting against the valve leave it open with no pressure closing the valve or something else but in any case gas out the barrel is an open valve, co2 or air
On the air arms 400 and 500 series you need about 80 bar to seat the valve, I know this because I just resealed my 400 last week, cock it first then just a very quick blast a air did the trick to reseat it.
Well that was it Iceman. I was really sweating it! I'm back in business.
I'm glad it worked out for you, enjoy!!
Thanks Iceman, That helped me also.
