that is producing remarkably uniform and well made pellets:

If this is about QYS pellets your about 17-18 years late.
Anyone that ever bought a Korean Airgun in the early 2000 got the QYS match pellets and the QYS “superior domed” crosman premier rip offs.
Great pellets, rivals H&N yeah we get it.
Better late than wrong, LOL!
20 years ago, I was still shooting firearms, my last was a 0.416 Taylor with a barrel designed for sabotted bullets. 5,000 fps with 168 grains Sierra MatchKings. 1/4 MOA accurate out to 550 yards/500 meters (Metallic Silhouette Ram distance) way back then that was LONG range). For hunting I made my own bullets with Corbin Swage dies, made my own sabots too. Obviously, the gun was not a MS rifle, the bullet would have gone cleanly through the steel plate, LOL!
19 years ago, I rediscovered airguns.
17 years ago, the Crosman Premier in 0.20" was one of the best long range pellets you could get, and testing some of my "stash" side by side with modern offerings, at high power, still nothing beats them.
16 years ago we (in America) discovered the JSB's and, since then, nothing has been able to approach the reliability of those. Yes, some batches have given problems in some barrels, but the vast majority of barrels, shoot reasonably well with at least one of those.
9 years ago I moved to the USA and continued my excellent relationship with JSB, I even designed a rifling around the 0.20" cal 13.7 grs. JSB (that now has a heavier brother).
7 years ago, I became a professional airgunsmith.
6 years ago, H&N was turned around, the plant moved, new machinery was acquired, and started producing worthwhile pellets again. 4 years ago, they purchased the Defiant/Prometheus line of products. They are still struggling with some designs. But they are making good strides.
In America, the QYS pellets have a fairly recent history, perhaps in Europe they have been known for some time, after all, it is still one land mass with Asia and Africa, but not us on this side of both ponds.
I have not had the pleasure to meet "The Boss", and discuss QYS history. What I do know is that their current field products are worthy of a good test in good field guns. And that Uttings, and other UK companies are also considering these as a "launch" with prices that match the novelty. Luckily, "We the People" will be able to pay for these pellets in dollars what the British Subjects will pay in lbs. Which is going to be funny as h---ll.
Anyway, just to close this, to ME, the important part is that there are new competitors, and that is always good for a market and for a sport, innovation is around the block when established brands feel their turf being taken. It may not be "news" to you but, at least, QYS thinks of this as a "new" aspect of their industrial life and, Who am I to argue?
😉
Keep well and shoot straight!

interesting but no little weight pellets for pistols 7 to 7.4 gr
thanks for the review

I don't know what you are trying to do; because of the price, these are not plinking pellets. Or, at least, I think there are better options for that.
For serious Target Pistol shooting, The WC pellets are adequate and accurate in a FWB103, a Steyr LP10, and a Chiappa/FAS6004
For field Pistol shooting, since the rules allow up to 12 ft-lbs, I think these pellets can do very well.

Hector,
Quick question.....do you have the BC for each of those pellets? Just a generic number, nothing too technical.
Tom Holland
Helo Tom!
I just finished a round of longer range testing. It was a little bit windy, and so, my numbers may be off a little, since my land is somewhat of a rolling hill and sometimes winds from certain angles can raise or push down a trajectory. But I would be fairly confident to shoot an FT match with these numbers:
Zero at 28.45 yds (26 meters) (Apex, or very close to)
"Scope Height" (in reality LOS height at muzzle).- 2.22"
MV.- 781 fps (out of my CCA WFTF D54) with an extreme spread of 4 fps over 20 shots and a SD of ± 0 (Chrono rounds to integers, so it's funny).
Nominal Pellet Weight 8.48 grs.
Drop at 38.3 yds (35 meters).- 0.66"
Drop at 54.7 yds (50 meters).- 3.56"
Drop at 10.9 yds (10 meters).- 0.76"
BC's:
0->10.9 yds.- 0.0228
10.9 -> 38.3 yds.- 0.0236
38.3 -> 54.7 yds.- 0.0248
Weighted (by distance) BC.- 0.0245
Not PHENOMENAL BC's by any means, but very consistent with normal trends and the shape and length of the pellet.
I do think these numbers can be refined, but I doubt they will change much.
We'll see when the production shipment gets here. So far I have almost exhausted the tin, just shooting and re-shooting test groups, LOL!
Hope these numbers help. Keep me posted of what was your intent in asking.
Keep well and shoot straight!

Hector,
Just wanted to collect whatever info I can get from various pellets that might be used for FT for my own records. You wouldn't have the average BC for the heavier pellets, would you?
Also, what's going on with H&N? Sent them (Florian Schwartz) a detailed email on what I found on the performance of the Barracuda FT, and haven't heard anything from them, been several months.
Happy shooting,
Tom Holland
