Cool Beans, wished I had the money and go back in time and buy a truckload of them. Don't know if we will ever see anything like them new off a production line. Here is a target at 10m I shot once, 5 shot groups doing some pellet test. I have to say the folks that shoot these off hand a punch centers have bragging rights. I'll never get there.......

Excited for you, please post photos when your 300S arrives! It doesn't seem to matter how many photos I've seen, I never grow tired of looking at them because each rifle is unique with its own characteristics and nuance. I still visit the archives from time to time just to look at the gorgeous photos from past posts. Congratulations on your acquisition!
I bought a real cherry pie 300 s. I said sights not needed and that's what I got. I use a scope anyways. Bluing is perfect. Accuracy and trigger is perfect, Stock is nice. I am happy. jeff C Not trying to make money just want good guns. I know from the sound it has the Maccarri spring.
Not in the states, but this guy up north is fast and reliable.
I just ordered a couple of seals from him they should be here in a couple days.
I've been shooting the gun at 10 meters in the garage. I'd forgotten how wonderful they are. I took it out to 25 yards and shot to 5 shot group so we're both under a half inch with these old eyes.
The FWB 300S is still my favorite classic match rifle. (and I have several rifles including a Diana 75, Diana 100, LG-380, and a couple more in the back of the gun safe. In fact, I'll be thinning the herd this year; but my cherished FWB-300S will be an heirloom for my kids and grandkids.
The FWB-300S Yahoo group is still alive and fairly active.

Thank you Garvin!!! ?
Replaced the seal, now the lever needs a slight push to lock.is thus ok and just part of the "set" also how hard us replacing the piston seal?
I could see it through the escape hole and it looked like it might have had a nick on it.
1. Yes it’s normal for a new breech seal to do that. Proves you’re getting a good tight seal.
2. What you see through the transfer port isn’t the piston seal (which is a steel ring like an automotive piston), but the piston bumper (one of the more unusual aspects of the gun’s design, required because the super-efficient short transfer port gives very little piston-braking effect). If it’s spitting chunks you definitely need to replace it soon.
