Just took delivery of a 177 single shot AA S200 (12fpe) PCP rifle and first impression is that it closely resembles my 177 Co2 AA CZ Alpha Project 10 meter match rifle. The AA CZ S200 is a neat little light weight single shot PCP set up at 12fpe power in the 177 I got.

This is where the first impressions comes to a halt because I took just one shot and it went BANG!!!

The trigger felt nice but not as nice as my CZ Alpha Project rifle but maybe it was because it really startled the heck out of me going BANG!!!

Reminded me almost as loud as when I first shot my 12fpe AA HFT500.

So I just put it away and waited for the cops to show up and luckily they didn't this time.

Really hate it when things go BANG!!! because I don't  have the desire to shoot anything for that day since paranoia had already set in.

I am going to continue my review as soon as I find an LDC to fit the barrel so I can shoot it.

It has provisions such as dovetail mounts on the barrel to mount a scope unlike my AA Alpha project that has a square barrel shroud instead.

Haven't bothered to mount a scope on it yet since it is not backyard friendly.

I'm a little confused...maybe have not been paying attention...but I'm going to assume that's a "new to you" rifle. The stock LOOKS like one of the Avanti Valliant's sold here before 2003 (though Daisy). Angled forend tip, no barrel band, and a straight top lone to the forend.

(Anyway...you have the literature...and it should have a factory test target...which will have the date of the test shooting (although the month will be in Czech rather than English...and the stampings on the rifle will likely help figure the birth date).

Also looks like on if the fill probe air tubes (where there is no gauge and you fill it from the front end).

Might even be one of the old industrail-type fill fittings (that remind me of a gas station air hose fitting (the quit using those a long time ago for the AA type).

If I'm wrong...tell me...didn't know they had returned to that style forend. I don't remember seeing a Avanti Valiant without the adjustable cheek rear stock, but they may have.

My two: upper one from about 2010 (.177) and the lower one from 2003 (.22).

Anyway, from the quiet viewpoint,it's a pretty standard diameter barrel (16mm) and several grub-screw attached LDC's can be found (Rocker 1/ TKO/etc.). Because you have a fill fitting at the front, the diameter of the LDC is not critical.

The air tubes with a gauge fill from the rear (you unscrew the air cylinder and fill it from the back end), and that makes those rifles a little picky about LDC's. Tube has to pass under the LDC (or you'd have to take the LDC off every time you filled it), so the LDC needs to either be skinny or oddly flat-bottomed shaped.

The front scope mounting block (the one on the barrel) has two detents. You can loosen the set screw and change the spacing if you've the urge for long scopes.

Thank you very much for your help!

You got it, a "new to me" gun here. It has a large Parker fitting on the end which Air Arm used before their current unique puzzle fit then turn to secure connector. The (manometer-less) air cylinder unscrews from the action too. I made it a point to ask about the noise level when shooting it and the seller told me it was backyard friendly and really quiet to shoot. I guess that is true if compared to shooting an AR15 in your back yard.

That is the target model. I had a hunter model and it had the screw off cover and used a special euro fill fitting that goes over a stud and turns. Don

Once it’s quiet you’ll love it. They are incredibly accurate. I sold mine to my neighbor and shouldn’t have. I tried the magazine and it worked well but the accuracy wasn’t as good as single shot. CZ barrels are awesome. Have fun!

That is a very good price for the adapter! Thank you for the info!

Noticed he has it for the Crosman 1077 too as well as for many other guns.

I had a plastic non-baffled muzzle brake on mine that was flat on the bottom.  Being flat on the bottom allowed me to remove the cylinder without removing the muzzle brake. Even though there were no baffles, it quietened the rifle down nicely.

Been nearly 16 years...considering the picture, the one shown might be 17-18 years old (Hey….it could be old enough to vote)...and that old-style fitting did give me two problems over that time...first was cured by just cleaning it out. Second was cured by rejecting the issue internal seals and adding a little coil spring and an o-ring for sealing.  Know they make replacements...but figure I can keep that male fitting running basically "forever".

BUT....even if the intake fitting is not working, but sealed, can always take the tube off and fill it from the rear end (if you have the proper fitting)like the gauged tubes (the butt end is the same for either of them).

I've found either of mine (.22 or .177) to be amazingly accurate....pretty much the standard of comparison for other rifles regardless of the other rifle's energy.

From your first post....it's not often I cross paths with another Alfa Proj owner. I'm not really an owner,my wife took one look/one try with mine and proclaimed it to be "HERS", so I technically can't over rule her...but I still take it out now and again when she's not home.

I'll try to take a picture of mine tomorrow if I have the time. NOW that Alpha Project is a REALLY QUIET and accurate gun to shoot! I have a 5 shot semi-auto pistol of similar origin too, well, actually two different variants, one has an inline feed and the other is a magazine feed, both are Co2 with HPA adaptor for a regulated line. I think the Alpha Project carbine stock will fit these pistols as well.

I collect all kinds of guns that I think are interesting. Many are no longer produced but are a real blast to shoot!

CASA the AIRGUN GUYS we were in a shooting fun day in Cali Saturday.

We stated with 45 scouts and then had a mixture of Girls ,Boys Ladies and a few Men.

CASA has a few Marksman Biathlon rifles and the California Rifle Pistol Association had a couple of Daisy trainers . OK for most beginners.

Well I brought the Air Arms T200 ,as it is a FANTASTIC rifle and I am a Fantastic shooter. After the morning session. I had seen some talent ... I whispered to a few COME BACK LATER AND SEE ME.

I had a line waiting to shoot my little rascal and nobody in the other line!

A  cute young vision impaired girl was really having a tough time, so when I got the scoped T200 out       WOW she started hitting. (she didn't want to stop..had a handful

IMG 8530

of shooting tickets)

We had a mother and daughter come, that were really amazing and having a blast.

Since we had a nice mixture of shooters , females are really naturals!

everybody love it because you can't miss.

And ME being a FANTASTIC shot ,,,didn't miss any shot.. really!  last shot at closing time.   3/8" at less than 10 yards (fuzzy in scope) offhand, one shot !

ME or T200 ????????????? Both??????

NOPE NOT EVEN CLOSE! not even half as sick as many of my other SERIOUS airgun friends!

I am the real conservative one!

And I don't buy scopes costing more than $3000.00 like they normally do.

I am the poor one here!

Yea guys I know you are reading this LOL!!! I admit it!!! You WIN!!!
