Been thinning out the starling population here in indpls last 5 weeks or so. Seems like there's a bumper crop this year.  Hanging around later too. Sure they've had 2 hatchlings already, still seeing the mothers feeding the juveniles from my suet cages. Shoot from my deck, roughly 18yd shots. Mostly head or neck shots, when they cooperate. The wife's getting a little tired of my sitting out here aftetvwork every day. Drop a bagful in the gas station trash can every morning. Guessing close to 300-350 so far. Actually what I'm doing, right now.

Weapons of choice all in the 525fps class, all scoped.

Crosman 180

.22 predators.

Sheridan .20

4 pumps. H&N FTTS

Beeman R7 .20

H&N FTTs.(scary accurate rifle)

Misfire,

I am newbe on this website but after reading that your wife is getting tired of you shooting the starlings, maybe you should let her give it a try????

Many years ago,my wife was totally afraid of guns until I introduced her to shooting at the range.

She was active right up until the time she passed away.

Just a thought.

I agree with Top Dog. Get her out there with you. She probably just wants to spend time with you.
