Didnt get in the woods until almost 9am and it was so cloudy and dreary could hardly see the the dot in my scope unless I turned illumination on. Started seeing squirrels about 20 minutes after I sat down, no stalking as woods is like paper crunching. Finally a young grey came down tree at exactly 40 yds so I popped him in the head with a 18 gr JSB. Killed 3 more by 1030 and was getting ready to kill my 5th one when my buddy who owns woods came driving down his drive so walked out of woods and talked for a half hr, after that didnt feel like hunting anymore so took pic and went home and skinned squirrels. Perfect morning for hunting other then stayed dark in woods longer then normal, was about 38-40 deg and dead calm.
FX Crown MKII Continuum .22 380mm barrel and 18gr JSB at 820fps.
You are my hero!
