2019 Utah RMAC (Rocky Mountain Airgun Challenge)
The event started today and we had a little bit of everything going on weather wise. Wind, rain, sun, cold, heat welcome to a Utah spring. This is the second year for the event and they have an impressive $20,000 purse. That brings in the big names. Fun to walk around and see all the airgun video stars live. I'm also impressed how approachable they are and quite friendly.
Side note is I make metal targets as a way to pass winter nights. Utah Airguns heard about me and asked me to make some for their indoor range. Then they wanted some for this event. They get very creative on the shooting course. A lot of movement and challenging positions to shoot in. They also have the popular 25 meter and 100 yard for the money events.
The owner, Justin Jacobson, could not be a nicer guy. Surprised my son and I with personalized jerseys.
The range is in the mouth of a canyon that can really throw a curve ball with the wind. We had everything today.
Very well planned out and nice vendor support too.
My son getting ready for the 25 meter qualifier.
The ole man hoping the first round of 100 yard is enough to help advance. 😉
