This is a reminder that the Texas Airgun Show will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018. It opens to the public at 9 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m. It will be held at the Arlington Sportsman’s Club ( http://www.arlingtonsportsman.com/), located in Mansfield, Texas. At this show you can buy, sell, see, shoot, win and talk about airguns of all types. Entry is $5 each for everyone over 12 or $30 each for early entry if you want to come at 6:30am. Some vendors will take credit cards, but better to bring cash. No ATM onsite.
Go to www.texasairgunshow.com for more info and to reserve a table for the show or register for the FT match on Sunday.
If you want to sell you airguns and related items, eight-foot tables are $30 each (maximum of 2 per individual/dealer/vendor). The indoor tables are limited to 34, so if you want one, please email now texas.airgun.show@gmail.com. We also have 20 tables outside under the awning outside to accommodate overflow. We will have a big cooling fan this year.
No Firearm Sales at the show. Safety glasses are required when not inside a building.
We will have airgun demonstrations again this year, including these confirmed activities:
Field Target demonstration
Public try-it-before-you-buy-it air rifle shoot on 25-yard range
And more to come...
We are also going to have a door prize, and hourly raffles of airguns and related accessories from Crosman, Hatsan, Sig-Sauer, Sun Optics, and Umarex. Last year the top door prize was an Airforce Airguns Texan .308 caliber rifle and the top raffle prize was an AirArms RSN70 .177 caliber rifle donated by our friends at Pyramyd Air.
This year, the day following the Texas Airgun Show, the Arlington Sportsman Club will host an air rifle Field Target Match. The match is open to registered competitors with an air rifle shooting 20 ft-lbs or less and adhering to AAFT rules. Cost is $10 per entry unless you also reserved a table for the airgun show the day before, and then the cost is free. Gates open at 7am for sight-in.

Its here. This weekend: http://www.texasairgunshow.com/ To quote the old drag-racing ads: "Be there, be there." This is a great event.
I want to thank Jeff Cloud and all the volunteers from the Arlington Sportsman's Club for putting on another great airgun show. We had both a lot of vendors as well as a lot of visitors this year. As always, there were deals to be had, neat things to see, opportunities to shoot a lot of airguns, and friend to visit with and fellow airgunners to talk to. Most of the visitors were members of the local club. These shooting aficionados are becoming more aware of and more interested in airguns every year.
This year has been pretty stressful for me so I only brought 4 rifles, one pistol, and about a dozen custom knives to put on my table. The knives got a lot of looks and I sold 4 knives and 1 rifle. I bought a Caldwell Chronograph kit, a sturdy shooting tripod, a tank caddy and one of the Russian bull pup conversion kits for a gen 1 Marauder. Now I have to find a deal on a gen 1 Marauder in .177.
I may need to sell another gun or two before chasing down the Marauder.
It was nice to see everyone. I wasn't feeling well and packed up early without saying goodbye to everyone. Sorry about that.
David Enoch
Sorry you were feeling poorly at the show David, and apologies for my (as usual) name confusion. But you've known me long enough to realize how weak-minded I am when it comes to names... and numbers... and dates... and details of just about any kind! ?
I also want to compliment Jeff Cloud on Saturday's excellent airgun show and Sunday's equally-excellent field target match. 'Good show', Bud!
It was a great show as it always been in the past. Thanks Jeff! And thanks for an outstanding FT match!
I think the wind may have deterred a few shooters from the FT match but only 2 lanes I shot in were really affected. All the rest of the lanes were well protected being they were in the archery 3D lanes.
lunch was catered by Jason’s Deli, made new friends, partnered with a brand new shooter, George Wells, who is absolutely hooked on FT now.
Looking forward to next year already!!
