I added this one to my collection last week.  Pictures were taken at night so not best.  It looks better than shown.

I like the look.  I don't remember the red butt pad on the nickel-plated rifles with the black stocks, but I think my memory may be playing tricks on me.

I bought that used.  Guy bought it from AOA.  They are $468 there now.  Looks about like new.  I gave $325 that was to my door.

Congrats, Brad. I like the looks of those "stainless" models. BTW, do you still have the standard HW50S that you got a while back? If so, try swapping the stocks between it and this one. I think the silver action looks exceptionally good in the standard brown stock. And the dark blue action looks very nice in the black stock, too.

question       what is the plating, coating Weihrauch uses on there silver guns 

it looks like Armoloy to me  and i would bet anything they plug the barrel at time of coat, plating

Mike, I've always thought the "stainless look" HWs were nickel plated, but I don't know for sure.

i had a rifle years ago that had a Armoloy finish and it is the same type to the eye 

it is tough stuff and has that stain matte finish
