I was just poking around Canadian airgun vendor sites when I came across these very handsome target pistols for what seemed reasonable money. I can't seem to find any American vendors that carry them. Anyone know the story?

the trigger was a bit harsh and can not be lighten I tried, the trigger assembly is a bit odd but I digress but was worth 50 bucks

and no one in the states that I know of

The only place on this continent I am aware of is airgunarcheryfun.ca

The operator is a member of the online community by the name wesbob.  He gets good marks from everything I’ve seen.  I’ve only ordered from him once and it was a pleasant experience.

Dont know the story, but I have one... and I am aware of one other that may be in the US.   One US distributor was planning on carrying them and I ended up with one for review, but that dealer didnt pursue.

If it's the same one as I'm showing in the pic, I have to say I kinda like it.  It was a bit smallish, and perhaps a bit lower powered, but given its intended purpose, I'm not sure an extra 50fps would be of much benefit.

how is the trigger compared to you pick a pistol and I like the red and the black grips are ok vs the wood they offer

Unfortunately, I have very limited experience with target pistols.  I do have an IZH-61 so will use that as a frame of reference.  To my uneducated target finger, I can feel no discernible difference.  The trigger on the Liston is very good and I adjusted it 'too' light and had to put some more sear engagement on it to feel comfortable.

Again... Limited experience... but from my perspective, I could and can shoot this just as well at the intended 10M as I can my IZH and while the grip is a bit on the smaller side, it actually feels more comfortable than the IZH.    I would like to find some wood grips for it though. The plastic grips just dont do it for me, but that's more personal preference than a functional assessment.

The trigger compared to ANY other pistol (and I have more than my share) is superb.  If that helps at all.

On a side note... should you pick one up and wish to trade grips since you appear to like the plastic, please hit me up.  🙂

Well the mystery continues. It's a very interesting, accurate pistol without representation in the States. Very weird.

I have the PCP version has a really decent trigger out the box and is adjustable. Mine shoots jsb 7.3-464/ 8.4-440 /10.3-394. The ones that have what looks like wood are synthetic wood grain. Mine has black grips as you see.

I just found this pistol at

Home

I sent the dealer a message asking about the PCP tank and literally got a reply within 3 minutes.  He will check for me.  Given that kind of response, I think if I were going to buy the whole pistol, this is where I'd be going.  Gotta love a quick response on a weekend!

well I thought those brown grips looked a bit strange with the grain chevroned on the back of the grip

and I was looking at maybe a comparison to a 46m or a 65 or model 10, I know the Czech pistols I have suffer from have good but not great trigger and wonder if the Chinese would copy that error

One US vendor had a handful of them imported as samples, possibly to add to their line.

I bouhgt one of them when they decdied against importing them and sold off the samples (fight place at the right time). there were two version listed on the listone website a few uyears back. one CO2 and the other PCP. I had the CO2 version

I could never get mine over 420 ish FPS even with the power screw cranked all the way in. and broke one of the cocking knobs because of the tenstion on the screw.

Only two negative things about it. Yes its a clone of the Proj.

Trigger is adjustable in5 axis. can be set stupid light. Accuracy was awesome even with me shooting it. the synthetic grip was a tad weird, but you got used to it. They did offer a wood grip (last I checked) but it was a spendy upgrade.

Ive not checcked Listone's website in a while, so I cant comment on price. But they are way cheaper than a Proj.

Kind awish I handt sold mine, but Im not a pistol guy.....

the Alpa Proj grips will fit the Victor  and if available at 145.00 + or - they would be about right in price for target grips

I think I will break open my piggy bank and see if I have 2 nickels to rub together

Bill you get to a point when you have to stop buying, when your needs have to slap around your wants  and keep him in line

and if you saw my gun cases you would under stand

I have played by one rule, you have to buy it, to try it and that a good rule to a point and my 2 nickels if I can find them will tell me that

maybe 2 dimes won't talk back

hell I would just tear it apart to see if I could make it better, that has been my M.O. of late, I shoot little but tinker lots, I'm just gotten old

Bill you take care
