What are the options for a Hw30 muzzle break. A friend wishes to install a smooth face cocking aid. Will he have to shim barrel for accurate fit, or file front site groves to accommodate? Can an older Beeman R7 break still be purchased and fit current Hw30 model?

Appreciate all responses.

Archer Airguns sells a universal smooth muzzle brake for 15mm barrels, so it should fit the HW30. I have one that came on on an urban pro that had its factory mod removed. It's blued steel, so it adds some weight as well, but I liked the one I had.   Google "15 mm airgun muzzle brake" and it should come right up. But if you don't want to add any appreciable weight, go with aluminum or derlin.

Good luck!

Thanks Shareef,

You're the second person who has mentioned  Archer's brake.

I had totally forgot about checking Archers site. I'll be checking it out, thanks again.

Cheers

Air rifle headquarters.  Shim for 15mm with electrical tape, or Pyramyd Air has one with a metal shim.  But it has the Beeman Grooved look.  I like the one fron ARH.
