Looks like an improved Plinkster, with full 3 cart pressurized tube.  Neat idea.  Also looks like it would lend itself to bulk fill with just a different end cap.  Does this gun come with the improved 2 stage trigger?

WHEN, oh when will parts be available for this family of guns? My wants include a Trail Scout gas tube for my Plinkster, and a .177 Chaser rifle barrel with moderator.

Jim it looks like a Stormrider on CO2, so the trigger is more then likely the same not 2 stage

but the barrel is a Chaser barrel and that seems odd

but I could be wrong and not Hector just mike

Jim and Mike;

The Trailscout is sort of a "hybrid" as you have already seen. There are technical and economical reasons for this.

It uses the Stormrider breech, bolt, and hammer arrangement, it shares tube diameter with the SR, and therefore all stocks, barrel bands, trigger guards, etc will interchange. The barrel is now shared between SR, Chaser and TS.

It SHOULD come out with the DIT (Diana Improved Trigger), at least those were the specs.

The valve is, of course, different. It has been made for CO2.

We are working with an American specialist to design the Bulk-Fill caps.

Parts should be available after the pipeline gets filled with product.  So that should mean something like 4-5 months.

There ALREADY are some parts available, the 0.177" barrel is available at Pyramyd Air:

https://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Diana_Stormrider_Barrel_177_Caliber/8679

You can add a moderator of your liking, if you want. If you want the front sight plastic piece, drop me a PM

It's a really fun gun. Not too powerful, but lots of fun. Even without the Bulk-fill, 100 shots per opening of the tube is not bad, and at the current price  of cartridges, I am not so sure there is a huge economic upside to bulk-fill.

Anyway, don't hesitate, LOL!

Keep well and shoot straight!

yes but the SR barrels that PA is sell are not Chaser barrels the muzzle end is not threaded, I know I bought 2 for a Chaser project, they are old style barrels

even the pictures PA uses show 2 different setups for SR

PA should clean up there sales pages to state what the  barrels are and or rifle come with

in my case I was cutting them off at 12-13 inches still haven't done it, for a longer barrel globe sight arrangement

Dear Marflow;

Thanks for pointing this out to us.

A note has been added that, while compatible between models, the barrels are NOT threaded.

Apologies if we caused any inconvenience, but please believe us that it was neither DIANA's, nor PA's intention, to mislead the customers.

Now, to be honest, ANY half baked turner should be able to put a thread in the barrels, and then you can choose the more common thread of 1/2 UNF (20), as opposed to the commonly used in Asia M10X1. Just an idea.

Feel free to reach out if we can be of any further assistance.

Well Hector I don't know if I should laugh or cry

first of did you read my posts I was going to cut the barrel off at 12-13 inch so if they were threaded or not, that would be cut off

now you stated that all the gun had the same barrels and PA was selling them which was not true and  just pointed that out and again I don't care because I was cutting them off

not to the turning part and half baked part, that comment make me think you think  I have a lathe, which I most certainly don't

I have hand tools, an idea and a hope that I can finish my project in a professional manner

so look at these pictures do you see anything wrong with them could hey be confusing

https://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Diana_Stormrider_Multi_shot_PCP_Air_Rifle/4449

https://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Diana_Stormrider_Multi_shot_PCP_Air_Rifle_and_HPA_Pump_Kit/4500

again I don't care but PA should, the front picture that they show should all be what they are selling, I know the other pictures are right I guess but I don't care

I was pointing out inaccuracies at PA and that the barrels that they are sell for the SR are not Chaser style barrels that a guess are be used on who knows what

and that is all I got

Mike

Mike/Marflow;

I would never refer to a correspondent as "half baked". That statement was made in the sense that ALMOST ANYONE that HAS a lathe will be able to cut a thread for you.  Any modeller, hobbyist, or machine aficionado should be able to cut a clean thread. And there are friends here that can also do it, even if they are not professional gunsmiths. That's all it meant, sorry you took umbrage to it.

On the PA website: they do have BOTH models in pictures, what is shown depends on the button you choose, whether it is the Gen 1 or the Gen 2.

Confusing?  perhaps a tad, but it is part of the modern world of buttons and options everywhere. As long as the right button is pushed, the right picture displays.

I saw your post and read it, and answered, if the cutting of the barrel was there from the original posting, I did not see it and I apologize.

Keep well and shoot straight!
