So I get my streamline in , and have been zeroing it . It kinda wasn’t giving me the groups I knew it was capable of so pulled out the chrony . With 25g Jsbs and 230bar it starts at a few low 900s until 200bar then it jumps to 950-970 until about 170 bar then goes to the expected 930-940s. But still throws some 950s in until I hear regulator stop . So basically it’s going from 900-970fps. The 950-970 pellets are making big groups .What’s going on ?

I have no comment on the fps change but my .25 Streamline was grouping great and then didn't the next time I pulled it out. Cleaned the barrel and all was well again.

Your reg is leaking or a gauge is way off.

Both gauge on gauge and fill line Read the same . I’m going to try starting off at 200bar today . But yes the regulator should be holding all the first 45 shots around 920. Starting at 230bar

I hope it's just a reg rebuild. Not that I'm wishing any rebuild needed. 920 for 45 shots. Sweet. I admire FX accuracy but unsure of build quality. Felt like a toy to me. Very very lightweight. Anyway, my RSI with Altaros (Mr. Piatt needs to rebuild 6 yrs old, slow leak) Does 50 shots @ 861fps w/ JSB 18.13's (average stated weight, uh hum. Cough)  and amazes me. I feared regulators for so long for your post reasons right here. To justify the fear, I have no reg tester nor external gauge, adjustment. Not super easily adjusted.   The question though for me, is a regulator worth the possible leak or misdirection in diagnosis? If accuracy at long range & being as efficient as possible is your thing? Absolutely positively worth it. If a curve with tons of power and something like 2-10 shots with a 100fps spread is ok with you. No. You don't need or want a regulator. RAW'S newer 130ftlbs for 16 regulated shots is liveable & impressive to me; but not enough to get it over a regulated .30 caliber. They are the other side of FX. Super heavy. The Garand of production PCP's.

Guys, the tech is becoming mind blowing. I'm just going to say I'm happy with a hard hitting (air gun world) limited power regulated rifle. Anything above .22 commoners eyes is asking for a look see if you catch me. I always said, I'd like a BC that matches a .22. It's nice but accuracy still proves even all that isn't needed.

Not to steal/hijack the thread. It's your regulated rifle and I highly respect it even if leaking & I can't tell you what's wrong in person or guessing here. I just figure I'd show interest until you find your problem.

Apologize I do, but the moral be regulators are where it's at.

I also have a ag tuned by MrPiatt . Great gun! My older .25 has regulated tank , shoots great but I wanted little more power. My unregulated .22 shoots great as well but again it’s better if the pdogs don’t make it back to the hole ! AOA routed me to Fx on warranty and I’m waiting on their call. Looks like my first venture into an higher end ag is going to be frustrating. Grr . Tempted to return it and forget it
