Have the bugs been worked out?

What accuracy and pellet are you getting at 50 yards?

Shot count?

Overall assessment?

thx Drew

Lots of chatter on it on another forum.  I've had one since the first shipment in.

There were lots of folks having issues who were using the wrong pellet.  We were all told that the gun was designed for JSB 18 grain or Kodiaks.. and some insisted on using Premiers.  This caused issues.  ...and there were some issues with accuracy that were legit.    At least one person did a 'home brew' mod to shoot the Premiers and it worked out fine, but for the rest with accuracy issues, we were all sent a free kit that deals with that nicely.

They also have come out with another magazine that will properly cycle all types of pellets.  So in short, yes... the bugs have been worked out.

Mine has been 100% reliable and only recently started to show some of the accuracy issues, though was still 'hunting accurate' out to 50 yards. A quick call to the distributor and within a few days, I had the accuracy kit, which I need to install.

I've not done a full string, but reports of 60 good shots seem to be the norm on it.

Can shoot ALL pellet types now?

From what I see there is NO reg included which is a bummer for the $$

Has anyone installed a reg?

What performance are you getting vs no reg?

With the new mags, yes they are shooting all pellet types.

The rifle version is right at $900... dont think that's unreasonable for a semi auto with no reg.  I dont miss not having a reg.  Had done a partial string and looked good without a reg.  Saw other strings posted that looked good as well. Not the typical Korean gun downward drop in velocity with each shot.

I've not seen where anyone installed one, but maybe someone out there has.  Would have to really do something special for me to warrant an extra $150 for a reg when it's already doing so well as it is.

Never had a Huben, but I've had a Monsoon... and promptly returned it.  Had a Hatsan.. and sold it.  Should tell you something. 🙂

In fact, was just out shooting it but coming in for a break from the pollen.

Here is a couple of older groups I shot with the Evanix, havent bothered to take pics after these.

To date, I've had zero malfunctions or failures with this gun.  The accuracy dropped off just a little bit, as noted by others, but the accuracy kit has solved it for everyone else so I'm sure it will for me as well.  If I am not mistaken, new guns are sold with the kit in place now already.

Looks good Rob!

What is your beginning and ending fill pressure?

What is included in the accuracy kit?

Thank you, sir.   It's a 250 bar fill, but didnt record ending pressure after these groups and as mentioned, have yet to run a full string on it.  I run several mags through it before I top off.

The kit has a new bolt probe and hammer spring.  Also included was a cap and screw and I know Matt explained it to me, but I'm not recalling now why that was in there.

The install looks simple enough

I wish he would have added source, cost, and performance testing
