Hey guys. I had a limited time with a BP17 and it was a cool gun. Harder to shoot because it's so short, but with a couple days practice you can shoot dime groups at 35 yards and quarter size groups at 50. The soft touch finish is kind of easy to mark up, at least with fingerprints, it doesn't scratch. I thought some of you may be interested to know the wood version just came in at Pyramid Air. Much better in my opinion. -Nate

I was able to trade in my BP17 because it had a minor issue and I put my money towards the new RAW. New stock shape for Bench Rest shooting, M-lock rail, more power, polygon barrels, FX killing capabilities. If you want to hand some FX shooter thier ass at EBR, start with the new RAW, then practice ALOT!

P.S. Just kidding about FX shooters. I'm saving for an Impact X now. My favorite gun out of the 20+ I own? My FX Monsoon. Seriously, it's the one gun I would take to heaven with me. Regulated semi auto….there really is nothing better!

That wood stock on the Ataman looks like someone built it himself and was his first attempt!

Good one! Speaking of Ugly stocks, whoever selected this one for the photo shoot needs to be fired. It looks like a sanded down 2X4.

flassh

...however, alot of people like the Flash Pup, I have no idea why...and so I need to get one to review. I'm probably going to get one.

HA: Your Commander HP .25 will be here tomorrow from AOA! I've had my eye on that gun for 2 years (since they were announced). So it's a BIG day for me tomorrow. Hooray!!! Maybe if I can shoot a good enough group in my review you will buy it from me. I don't know how else I'm supposed to afford a Steyr PRO X in 2 weeks. Am I right? -Nate

I have a 22 FlashPup and it has better than average accuracy IMHO. There is one annoying thing about it, there is a loud ping right by your ear when firing it which is much louder than an Edgun ping.

Three of the recent bullpups I received.

I am surprised you haven't bought a Daystate Pulsar yet or have you tried the FX Wildcats yet?

I have to take a pic of my Edgun Lelya 2.0 but its nothing fancy just plain walnut. But is looks more appealing than the Ataman.

Don't get your hopes up with your FX Monsoon, it will eventually stop working in semi auto. But the good news is that the FXs have a longer functional semiauto life than any of the Hatsan Semiautos.

My monsoon is super light in synthetic. It's more like light plastic...but I love it because of that. Haven't shot it enough to know about reliability. I just like the sound of "Regulated Semi-Auto" I think it's the only regulated semi auto ever made (not made anymore). Get one!

I already have four of them two in each caliber each have a woody and a synthetic as well as two Revolutions and one of them is pretty finiky about its pressure in order to cycle properly.

Didn't realize they were regulated? Just don't use it too much because they DO have

a life expectancy and a friend had one shot to hell and back which he sent to repair several times already and can only be shot as a repeater now cock it after every shot manually.

He was told that these types of guns are designed and built to be disposable by a well known tuner.

A HUBEN 25 popped up on the other forum classifieds for sale. I suggest you buy it since you are into semiautos. I have two of them in 22 and they are fun as heck!

HA, I would buy the Huben for sure, but I just spent all my $ on a red wolf 177. ...I have I think $105 in my bank account now. Some guy put on a brand new red wolf with an Aztec Emerald scope, and 22 tins of JSB pellets (8080 ct) for $2000 shipped. Unbelievable right?

Thanks for this tip on the Huben though. That is one I’m getting for sure. Any opinion on which to caliber to pick? I’m thinking .22 for max power vs ammo weight. Then I can push slugs as hard as possible.

I tried the "special Huben slugs" in mine and didn't notice a accuracy improvement over the JSB heavies. Expensive suckers too. Granted I didn't try any adjustments to try them at a higher or lower speed. Similar gr so I just left the settings as they were. I sold my Monsoon over the low shot count magazine. Too tempting to fire away and run out of ammo.
