Here is a close up look at a high quality sub 12 foot pound PCP air rifle. The Anschutz 9015 ONE Hunting HP is a single shot PCP that shoots 10.4gr .177 caliber ammo at 690 feet per second. A full review and accuracy testing on this rifle will be along soon. Thanks for watching! -Nate

If it is rated at sub 12fpe then I would suggest trying JSB 8.44gr and Air Arms 8.4gr as well since statistically those are the best selling pellets and are dead nuts accurate in many sub 12fpe guns which are also proven to shoot well based on published Field Target Competitions world wide and I can say they shoot very accurately in most of my lower powered guns as well and for many being the best pellets for them too.

If you plan to try to shoot at targets at 50 yards, the 10.34gr JSBs are best suited for higher powered guns over 14fpe based on my findings already trying them in a lot of my guns.

Close distance shooting not a problem for the 10.34s but will suffer when shooting past 35 yards when compared to the lighter 8.44s.

HA, Thanks for the info. I'm ordering a supply of 8.44 and 8.4's. I will need them it sounds like when I start shooting the 9015. I'll be prepared now. Thanks! -Nate

There is another pair of wildcard pellets available for CHEAP but it may or may not shoot well in your gun but I will say worth a try since they are cheap from Walmart and you can use them to break in the gun if not. The 7.4gr (NOTE 7.4gr) Crosman Premier Pointed in the 250 count tin and the 500 count tin of Crosman Premier Hollowpoint. No other pellets I found are worth buying from Walmart if you are looking for accuracy. I found Crosman Copperhead pointeds (if you can find them) shoot very well too in lower powered and even some high powed guns.

I have a couple of guns (NOT MANY just a COUPLE) that are shooting those pellets with phenomenal accuracy BTW. I shoot some old Crosman Copperhead pointed pellets past 50

yards in 177 and 22 caliber with incredible logic defying accuracy in some of my guns and yes they are CROSMAN pellets.

Other pellets worth mentioning for precision shooting sub 12fpe is the H&N FTTs in different head sizes such as 4.52 4.53 for example since you probably are going to order from Pyramid Air or Airgun Depot buy 3 get 1 free so one tin each for the H&N FTT 4.52 and 4.53 and one tin JSB 8.44 and one tin Air Arms 8.4.

If you want to get free shipping buying $150 worth of items then add 22 caliber JSB 18.1gr and AA 18gr and JSB 15.9gr and AA 16gr to shoot in your Steyr Hunting 5 and LG110 Hunter HP.

Another item worth buying is the droop compensated mount from UTG https://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/UTG_Drooper_Scope_Rail_11mm_to_Weaver_Adapter_Compensates_for_Droop_Stops_Scope_Shift/4191

I am surprised you have yet to experience barrel droop typical to airguns in general which causes you to run out of elevation when trying to zero a scope.

Everyone should have at least one of these (or couple) in their drawer with a few pairs of Weaver Picatinny rings just in case since you go through so many guns and it is a lot cheaper option than the Sportsmatch or FX no limits or BKL or Eagle Vision adjustable mounts.
