Airguns of Arizona (AoA) is no longer an authorized FX Airguns dealer.

Is this old news?

There has been bad blood brewing there for a while now. The last Extreme Benchrest had the rules changed to the disadvantage of FX products. Kind of the old "If you can't beat em, change the game". Bit of a shame. I know there are mixed feelings about that dealer but I have done a lot of FX business with them and really had no complaint. I did get the feeling at the last Extreme event that it was a Daystate vs FX event. Maybe I read into too much because of the rule changes and switch to Daystate apparel at the event. Good news is we have a great new FX dealer in my state. Really like Utah Airguns. 👍

That's good news!  Now maybe I can actually order parts without having to call for three days to get someone to pick up. Because in my experience, if you own an FX, you will need parts, LOL.

I like my older FX guns. I like em even more now knowing that AoA is out of the loop.

Speed doesn't mean a thing without precision.

Every contact and every purchase I have made with AoA has been top notch.  And I have bought a lot from them over the past several years.  Not once have I had them not return a phone call, or if something did not go as planned, not once did they go above and beyond to make it right.  I will continue to purchase from and promote AoA, no matter what FX does.  Sad because I own 4 FX rifles.

I have to agree with AirGunShooter, I have always had good experiences with AOA.  They were always helpful and professional.  Personally, I still love FX airguns better then all the other brands.

We are an official authorized stocking dealer.  Just come on by and see our large show room in Southern California.

That is certainly interesting news!

I would be curious to know how it really came down to the decision to part ways?  Hopefully this change will benefit all of us users.

AoA never did me wrong.  I never got the warm and fuzzies from them either.  I will continue to do business with them.

I also like FX products.  I have had a Royale 400 and sold it.  I now have the FX Streamline.  Both have been very good with the accuracy edge going to the Streamline.

Whatever the situation between them is irrelevant to me.  I don't see either one of them going away anytime soon.  If they did it only hurts us all as a whole.  It's one less option to choose from.  I like having choices.

Ice cold milk and chocolate chip cookies any day!

I have owned many of the FX guns from the Tarantulas, Royales, Gladiators, Monsoon and more. Every single one of them has been extremely accurate right out of the box. I have talked to Fredrick Axelson several times and he is very smart and way ahead of most others.

In my honest opinion it  will be better for us now and Daystate should do the same.

#3 in favor of AOA. I've been dealing with them since the early 90's when Robert, the owner, was the one who always answered the phone.

I shop at many other places also, but AOA is always on my list of go to places.

In the past 18 months I have emailed them with questions inquiring about soon to be released airguns from various manufacturer's, and I always get a fast and courteous response.

Keep up the good work AOA!!

The owner has lied to me personally so I will never-EVER-do business with them again.

They sold me a defective gun & charged me $300.00 re-stocking for the pleasure. Claimed gun was fine after I returned it. That was a bald face lie & he knew it.

I know some people had no issues with them-it could happen I guess. I gave them every chance to make my transaction work-I wanted the airgun I bought. But honesty or lack thereof is a deal breaker. And AOA deserved the bad reputation it got. They were the reason I never owned a FX gun again.

AOA gets positive statements from those whom had no out of box failures.  What Sets Dealers apart is when an item is defective or has a problem.  In this area they missed the mark way too often.  Telling person a D48 .22 is fine at 15 FPE? Shipping used display units as new by accident etc etc.  FX interceded for me with them years back and even then they were arrogant toward me.

FX did the right thing for FX long term reputation now if they would just start using LW barrels again *_*

I purchased a Daystate Airwolf from AOA and let's just say it looked like it toured Desert Storm. No way in hell should that rifle pass QC let alone be shipped to a customer. They definitely sell used guns as new and I'm sure other dealers do as well. Years went by and I did make another purchase from AOA but made it very clear, "do not send me a used gun!".

I'm glad to see the sport has spread and more dealers are opening doors, this will level the playing field.

PS don't bother messaging them on Facebook, that's a hit or miss as well.

Hi everyone! I am new here but am really enjoying this forum. For the last couple months since joining I have really enjoyed reading some of the topics. This one caught my attention because like everyone else I like a little drama from time to time too. But regardless of the reasons for these two going their separate ways, I wish them both well. I have some small complaints about AOA and FX both, but all in all I am very happy with both. I guess I am one of the lucky ones because other than AOA keeping me on hold for what seemed like forever sometimes, and FX's extremely annoying lack of quality control sometimes, I feel like both have gone over and above to please me.

I had a very similar experience with AoA and Robert as well - it involved a Tech-Star that I bought used, then traded in on a Sportsman. I sent it back because it wasn't working right, leaky, etc. Cost me $285.00 to get her back. Yeah, that Robert is a piece of work. Had a few pops after work one day and called him up and told him just what I thought of him. This was way before the dustup with the Yellow. You can have Aoahole.

I bought a beautiful FX Tarantula Sport used a few years ago. It came with a fps report that looked very good. Problem was that the seals were all deteriorated and it would not hold any air at all. Had to pay return shipping and for a rebuild, not good.  About that same time I bought a new Daystate Wolverine B, only to see it in pictures on the internet later. It was a used gun that had been used by the guy that does their reviews. If you look, mine is the one on the red and white plaid blanket, something I do not own. Just plain dishonest.

Crazy how such a big company still feels the need to rip people off from day to day. To bad they can’t make a living honestly. Another big sleaze ball outfit is Airgun Pro Shop. They sent me a $1500 GTL480 saying it was new. It was so not new. This was 2017, the tank said 2013, there were scratches all over it and you could see where the optics had been mounted....then they continued to insist it was new. PayPal served me that time.

..and of course don’t touch MRod air with a 10 foot pool. Scumbag city. They advertised a wood handled air max and then sent me a green plastic handled one. They also advertise their moderator with adapters for a number of air guns...the you buy it and they say “sorry, we haven’t made those adapters yet”.  ....WTF?
