Who all is shooting the streamline and what’s their opinion of the rifle ? After a few tweaks I’m finally liking mine , getting 30 shots 950-970 with 34gr JSBs at 240 bar . Hits prairie dog size target at 78 yards no problem. Was a lot of work to get to this point tho , the initial problem was a factory defect I didn’t discover until mid way of tweaks
I had a .25 and it shot great. Here is a early review on it.
I had too many other .25 options and didn't shoot it much. I was at a airgun range and a guy shooting a .22 Streamline was saying how he wished he bought a .25. I told him I had one and would trade him if he liked. So he did. The .22 is also a nice accurate light gun. I've added additional moderation and it is SO quiet. Also did a Huma regulator. I like the Streamline series though it was short lived and replaced by the jack of all trades Dreamline series.
Just this week there is the RMAC (Rocky Mountain Airgun Challenge) in Utah. My son was going to use the Streamline in the 25 meter event. Had some crazy weather and wind and he thought my Impact set up with a 700mm barrel shooting 25gr pellets would be a better wind buster so we shared it. Could get awkward if we both make the finals. 🤔
He may be back with the Streamline yet. Or I will be. 🤨
Mine is .22 and I think it’s a fantastic rifle. Long but fantastic. I love the 3 level power wheel. Low is a great 30 yard plinker and more shots. Accurate as I will ever be. I’m looking for a Synthetic stock so I can change the shape of it some and turn it into a sniper rifle (paint job that is).
Ice cold milk and chocolate chip cookies any day!
Is the Huma worth the upgrade cost?
I'm going to say yes. My .22 was a bit slow on the fps. I tried to tighten the hammer spring. Be VERY careful with the hex cap. It's all but paper thin and strips the hex in a heartbeat. I soaked mine in Liquid Wrench first and that helped. I shimmed the spring and it didn't help. So that's when I went with the Huma reg. Got it shooting 16gr just over 900 fps. I use 18gr if I want it slower. I seldom move the power wheel from high.
